DESCRIPTION:Nayari Castillo: Antikapitalistische Methodologie in der Kunst \nMolekularbiologin und Künstlerin (MFA Kunst im öffentlichen Raum und neue künstlerische Strategien\, Bauhaus-Universität\, Weimar\, DE)\, wohnt in Graz. Mit Videos\, Objekten\, Texten und Fotografien als Werkzeuge der Kommunikation\, befassen sich ihre Installationen mit spezifischen Konstrukten des Reisens. Ihre Interventionen beschäftigen sich mit Geschichte\, Zeit und Raum. Hat an zahlreichen Gruppen- und Einzelausstellungen teilgenommen\, u.a. in Berlin\, Brüssel\, Mexico\, NY\, Sarajevo\, Seoul\, Wien. Castillo wurde mit verschiedenen Preisen ausgezeichnet; darunter das Arbeitsstipendium für bildende Kunst der Stadt Graz 2015 und der CIFO Preis 2014 (Miami\, USA).
