Die Kriege der Gegenwart und der jüngsten Vergangenheit haben die geopolitischen Verhältnisse vollständig verändert. Die kapitalistischen Imperialmächte der Vereinigten Staaten und ihrer NATO-Verbündeten haben gemeinsam mit diversen regionalen Mächten Afrika (Libyen)\, den Nahen Osten (Irak) und den Mittleren Osten (Afghanistan) mit kolonialem Appetit zerstört. Der soziale und politische Raum zerfällt unter dem Druck des globalen Kapitalismus. Die jüngsten „Krisen“ befeuern die Fortschreibung der Geschichte von Rassismus\, Antisemitismus\, Islamophobie\, Sexismus sowie Homo- und Transphobie. Sie führen zu einer Situation grausamer Auslöschung\, Vertreibung\, Diskriminierung\, Erniedrigung und Verneinung der Rechte von rassifizierten Menschen\, Menschen mit Migrations- und mit Fluchthintergrund\, LGBTIQ+\, Sexarbeiter:innen und vielen anderen. \nThe mixed-media installation Insurgent Flows. reflects on death and history after World War II. The wars of the present and recent past have completely changed geopolitical relations. The capitalist imperial powers of the United States and its NATO allies\, along with various regional powers\, have destroyed Africa (Libya)\, the Middle East (Iraq)\, and Afghanistan with colonial appetites. Social and political space is disintegrating under the pressure of global capitalism. The recent “crises” fuel the perpetuation of the history of racism\, antisemitism\, Islamophobia\, sexism\, and homo- and transphobia.
